Seven years later I would just like to share this story again.
27-11-‘97❤️27-11-‘19, 22 years today: “I met a boy, no, I already knew him. Today 15 years ago, I met him in a way that was life changing. My third professional production, Grease, the musical. Touring through Holland an Belgium, we had so much fun. Antwerp, I guess we were there for three weeks, during the weekends cast and crew stayed in a hotel.
That one night, november 27th, I will NEVER forget. We were at my hotel room with, I guess, about 6 colleagues. We must have been playing Party and Co all night, that is what we liked to do. We must have been drinking cheap white wine and we must have been eating M&M's and we definitely must have been smoking lots of cigarets.
Everybody left my room to go to bed, we had to be fit the next day, we had to do 2 shows. That one boy stayed a little longer, god he was so fucking handsome. We didn't really know each other, he was a colleague. He also left my room, I stood in the doorway, I didn't want to close the door, we said goodnight, I saw him walking away and all I could think was: "Come back and kiss me!!!!!!!" I was way too shy to make the first move. I was about to close the door when I saw him turning around, slowly he walked back towards me, the door was wide open! We didn't say a thing, we just looked at each other. All I could see was this gorgeous hunk walking towards me, I guess I stopped thinking at that time. He came closer and closer, I closed my eyes and he kissed me and kissed me and kissed me and kissed me and kissed me for 24 hours he kissed me, at least, that's how it felt, I didn't want it to stop... It stopped, he went to his room, I closed the door. I went to bed with the biggest smile on my face ever. That boy is sleeping next to me every night. He is the most awesome, handsome, clever, patient, bright, beautiful, sweet, caring and loving boy I've ever met and today I want to thank him for coming back and kissing me.... Joost is the love of my life and words can not express what I feel for him. This boy had the guts to come back and kiss me...”
